The need to change the thinking of people is so important to positive change. I feel we are actually backsliding into an “Idiocracy” where thought is becoming a bother…… I am posting to see if we can dop anything about it in our own small sphere of influence. Hello fellow Senior Instructors. Let’s get some synergy pumping!!

  2. Mike Biggs Says:

I’m Mike Biggs, living in Western Sydney where I am searching for the perfect work/ life balance and to become a world famous superthinker… :)

I’m SISOT for Constitution Hill 2145 NSW. I used to think this area was way out in the sticks, now it’s the place to be for me, since I have created a home for my family here.

  3. Kevin G Says:

I am Kevin Gabriel, a knowledge world explorer. I am facinated by how ideas and change of perspective can bring freshness into our own thinking process.

I am SISOT for Oatley 2223.

Oatley is a beautiful village like surburb some 25km from the heart of Sydney. It is an enclave of Sydney (South) where you can live outside the big smoke without losing out on the convenience afforded by the big city.

  4. Shan Guneratne Says:

I am Shan Guneratne. I am a serious meditator, aiming to broaden my horizons in WISDOM.

I like current affairs and always want to ADD VALUE to the WORLD by sharing and giving any new ideas or concepts that can benefit the whole multiverse!

I live in Canberra Australia – ACT( Australian Capital Territory) 2602

    Canberra is the nations Capital.

“The site of Canberra was selected for the location of the nation’s capital in 1908 as a compromise between rivals Sydney and Melbourne, Australia’s two largest cities. It is unusual among Australian cities, being an entirely planned city. Following an international contest for the city’s design, a design by the Chicago architects Walter Burley Griffin and Marion Mahony Griffin was selected and construction commenced in 1913.”

The town was destroyed in a fire the 23rd of January 1904, leaving 10 000 homeless in the middle of the winter. 3 (THREE) days later german vessels arrived with supplies to aid. Today with all the resources we as a society have we are not able to rush to aid people in distress with the same speed.
The town to day has a strong influence from “jugend” style and is one of the worlds largest concentration of buildings from that period.

Hi folks. I am Eilleen, an OzScot, who calls Australia & Scotland home.

Melbourne is known for its “four seasons in a day” My postcode is Blackburn Victoria 3130, a leafy suburb 25 km from the Melbourne CBD.

Commuting is easy here. You can actually enjoy a walk or cycle as there are paths and places to go. The freeway to the city is a 15 minute trip.

I am a sales professional in the information technology sector and when not working, enjoy reading and lattes.

I do a lot of work for companies in the CBD (Sydney 2000) and wonder if I can change to this post code as I think there will be a lot more opportunities for spreading SOT there.

  13. Eric Bienstock Says:

I’m Eric Bienstock SISOT Millburn 07041 – USA

Greetings to all SISOT Society Members from the U.S.

I’ve lived in Millburn, New Jersey, for 16 years, having moved here with my wife and daughter from New York City (Manhattan island – the very belly of the beast).

I’ve spent my entire life in the NYC area. Millburn is considered a small commuter suburb of NYC, with a population of 22,000 … yes, that’s a SMALL suburb of NYC.

  14. Susan Says:

Hi all, I am Susan Honeyman and I am addicted to horseracing – not for the punting but for the opportunity to buy new shoes, then clothes that match the shoes – so that I can get dressed up and go to the races for the socialising.

I am SISOT for Mt.Clear, Vic, 3350 – which is on the outskirts of Ballarat – a city with lots of history around goldfields and gold mining. Better known for its reputation as a city that has long, wet, bitter cold winter weather – seems global warming has been kind to our region as we now experience only mild winters and long hot summers.

  15. Peter Says:

I’m Peter Wright, SISOT 2010, Surry Hills, New South Wales, Australia – the suburb of (next) year! By day I’m up to my neck in technology – working in a digital agency on things like digital strategy, user experience, social media and content management. Outside of work I’m also involved in a new product development and technology commercialisation project.

At the moment my interests include reading about naval history, cycling and rock climbing. My blog http://hubertusb.com chronicles my fascination with technology, design and cycling.

  16. Bella Katz Says:

I am Bella Katz and a marketing consultant plus avid (new) gardener. So I’m very excited to see all this rain falling over Melbourne this morning, reviving my thirsty little flowers.

I am SISOT Caulfield South 3162 and am discovering that great new cafes keep popping up in the area!

  17. Neville Says:

I’m Neville Dean – I coach people to achieve their ideal lifestyle simply through better thinking. I particularly enjoy working with younger people and spend quite a bit of time with the AIESEC organisation – the international platform that enables young people to explore and develop their leadership potential for them to have a positive impact on society.
I am SISOT 7162, Birchs Bay in Tasmania – the archipelago state south of the mainland of Australia. Tasmania is jam packed with people like me who have deliberately chosen it as the site of the good life: somewhere to be kinder, more composed, more appreciative of the important things.

  18. Erik K Dzordzordzi Says:

I am Erik K. Dzordzordzi. I am a Self-Taught on Human Performance Developer. Reading has been my greatest liberator I love reading. My passion is to help raised the thinking ability of the Africans wherever they may be.

I look forward seeing it the financial capital of Africa.

  19. Ben Ford Says:

I am that I am. I’m a professional innovator, although I originally trained as a metallurgist. I teach taiji and keep very small dogs. I also have an interest in mysticism, spiral dynamics and broadly speaking the human condition.
I’ve been granted SISOT B79 8TJ, which is my home address, but I’m mainly doing stuff at work which is Melton Mowbray, home of pork pies. Its also the place where the phrase “painting the town red” originated because a group of local aristocrats got very drunk one night and went out and did exactly that, buildings, streets, even people got painted.

  20. David Stuart Says:

I am David Stuart. I’m a copywriter. I like to think what I do is modern day alchemy – creating value with words.

I am Tim Yarbrough and I am a too curious man of 57 years of experience who still feels like I am in middle twenties and have more curiosity now than when I was in my middle twenties.
I am SISOT of the Spring Texas USA 77373 and we experienced a snowstorm today which is a most unusual event and set a record for the earliest snowfall on recored.

  22. linda Says:

I am Linda Carroli and I am a recent gardening convert. My partner is trying to reconfigure our garden as a ‘forest of food’. There’s nothing better than a salad made of fresh veg from the garden. I am SISOT Boondall 4034 – Australia located in Brisbane’s outer northern suburbs. It’s hard to think of something interesting to say about this area. It’s very suburban – low density and car dependent. However, my suburb of Aspley was listed in the newspaper recently as one of the top 10 most sustainable (a bit of a spurious claim) because it had among the highest number of residents who had taken advantage of retrofit rebates for water tanks, pool covers, solar water etc. Perhaps that’s a sign of bigger changes to come!

I’m a 3rd generation StKilda guy. Born across the road from St Kilda beach. It’s still one of my favourite places in the world. Sir Peter Ustinov coined the phrase “seaside raunchiness” to describe his affection for St Kilda.
