A month after my last comment on this topic my beloved husband and life-partner suddenly died… (on April 5, 2010) … I had NO CLUE on March 4, that in expression appreciation for keeping this post online, how much help the information in this Awakening Post would be in the recovery process… Indeed CVS reveals that conditions are NOT always fair… We do NOT always get what we think we deserve. Sometimes bad things happen to unsuspecting, good people. On these occasions, do NOT personalize things, do NOT blame; do NOT rationalize; do NOT surrender to fears. Face facts with fully-integrated honesty. Take a deep breath, THINK BVS, (Better View of Situations). Take responsibilities and bold actions to RE-design, RE-tread, RE-create to manifest an ever-better lifestyle and IDEAL EEBVS… I Do Everything Around Life Embracing Ever Better Viable Situations! — Again THANKS!!!!

Actually, the original translates as:
“give us tomorrow’s bread, already today”

For insiders, this is quite obvious, because the mind is best suited for absorbing the bigger picture when the pesky needs and urges of the body are out if the way.

It is unclear why exactly the change was made by the church, but I’d bet that the reason was simply that the rulers didn’t want to continue to encourage the peasants to think about the future, and instead instill more of a fatalistic mind set into their underlings.
