I have taught for more years than I care to mention an I have always encouraged pupils to NOT sound out the letters in a word but to look at the whole shape and take a stab at it.

Interesting, I was able to read this, so does it mean that I am smart and it could of been only years of limiting beliefs that have held me back. Wow what does that mean for my next 15 years of work, before I finally decide to retire
