god is not something you beleive in. You belive in things like the colour yellow, which are mere concepts created by the mind. God is not a concept, but a certainty.

God is a word used to describe the power of the cosmos, the power that governs all of life. Quite simply, god is energy.

Hi
remember my son Billy's definition...?
I was listening to a theosophical discussion about the definition of God. I remembered... Driving home from school yesterday, I asked Billy, my 15 yr old son: "Do you believe in God...?" Billy looked at me, somewhat scathingly, as though I was some alien drowning in googlebabble doing a very poor job of impersonating his Mum.....and then, while listening to his IPod in one ear, reading a text, chatting on the phone , eating chocolate, sipping a V, surfing channels on our car music system, etc etc .. projecting an extremely impressive and very convincing 'casestudy' of idle relaxation. "God is an imaginary friend for adults.." --

gods are memes in the minds of those who believe. Members of sects and faiths pass on god-memes to their children and others they strive to influence.
