The card could be called say "Australia's Future" and would apply for all Australians between 18 and 25. From a raw political viewpoint, the cost of benefits required would be dramatically less than the cost of the seniors card but would entice young people to vote for which ever political party adopts the policy first. On the upside, the productivity gains of fueling the growth of young Australians would far exceed the productivity gains of subsidising seniors most of whom have retired.
